    5 quick plant-care tips that make a big difference

    1) Match the plant to your light

    Before you buy, take 30 seconds to notice your space: bright direct sun, bright indirect light, or low light. Choosing a plant that fits your window direction is the fastest way to avoid leggy growth and leaf drop.

    2) Water less often, but more thoroughly

    Most houseplants prefer a “soak and dry” rhythm. Water until it drains from the bottom, then wait until the top couple of centimetres of soil feel dry before watering again.
